So before you plan your weekend or plan to go out on vacation for a while, make sure that your bathroom is fixed. So how to check your bathroom and detect problems? Look for the ones that occur most frequently. If you don’t know what they might be, you won’t know where to look, so get a pen and a paper, grab your handyman’s box of tools and head straight to bathroom.

Clogged Pipes.

Over wondered why it takes more and more time every day for water to run down the drain. It might be because your sink, kitchen sink as well as the bathtub drainage were clogged over time. Now is the time to act and clean those pipes before the pressure proves to be too much for them. First make sure that you have the right tools that means a screwdriver and a wire to unclog the drainage pipe. Remove the plastic top on the drainage and push the wire as far as it can go. As long as you feel resistance keep pushing. After you’ve remove the debris from the wire repeat the process to make sure you’ve removed everything. Check if the water is going down the drain.

Dripping Faucets.

We’ve all had this problem, it adds up to water bill it wakes us up at night and we can’t seem to fix it no matter how hard we tighten it. When the water bill gets absurdly high, you’ll think twice about leaving it for plumber to fix. Why not do it yourself. First thing’s first, cut off the water supply. Find that little shut off valve and turn it off. Now that you can start open the faucet and notice that the rubber band is damaged. Get a new one and replace it and all your problems including sleepless nights and increased water bills will be fixed.
